How It All Started
Elite Football Training Academy (EFTA) is a Victoria BC based soccer academy, which was established in Victoria’s soccer community in 2015.Emmanuel Gomez (Manny) returned to his roots in Victoria BC in 2015 after playing his professional soccer career overseas.Growing up Manny struggled to find local quality soccer programs to advance his professional soccer career, which forced him to bounce around and live many places.From Manny’s personal challenges in the local soccer scene and upon completing his professional career, he decided to build a small Individualized soccer academy for young players to help them reach their professional and personal goals and provide the best possible environment to progress there.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
To develop players in individualized small groups to maximize the amount of development & learning for each player. Each players needs is different , some players are exposed to different environments. Efta helps player get supplementary training for these individuals in a more detailed way.

How We Train
Elite Football Training Academy (EFTA) will be welcoming players within the city to participate in each program for a year round training.Players who are wanting to join can register through webpage for information about training times/locations.The environment of training that EFTA provides is a safe learning environment where players will develop & train there skills to improve there development
Elite Football Training Academy (EFTA) players work on skill development & game scenarios tied with decision making.Players will observe and learn the 4 moments of the game also aside from the skills & the 4 components of the game

TRAINING EXPECTATIONS
Elite Football Training Academy (EFTA) Players in each program will be expected to be at all of our session except of being sick, away(with family commitments/ Team commitments) or injured. Each player must be able to train in a respectful and accepting way to all players within our program.
Opportunities
EFTA is well connected with many coaches & environments all across the world that will help players excel in their goals with opportunities if players are excelling in there development (note: this is not a guaranteed opportunity for each player participating in our programs) this will be communicated to there parent or guardian.
EFTA Blue
Efta's Blue program is for all player levels from ages 12-17 to develop there skills & tactical awareness on the field,All players will be separated in groups with these considerations looked at

For players to be in there proper environment players coming into the program from EFTA juniors will start to learn more advanced parts of the games.
EFTA Juniors (6-9)
EFTA JUNIORS
EFTA Juniors is a program for all players to join from ages 7-12 years of age to develop there skills & awareness from a young age as a supplimentary program .This group works with Coach Manny once a week where players work on Skill development & Games/Game Scenario exercises.This combination where players are taught skills but also given time & trial error for there own decision making on the field.

Juniors To Blue Transition
EFTA & its Vision for players starting from the junior program into the older programs is to sustain quality development during there youth years.Meaning working with someone that can help them in this journey to whichever there goals may be with feedback & guidance.
EFTA Blue To University/Semi Pro/Pro Environments
EFTA through the years has been an opportunity supplier to various different teams at University Level/Semi Pro Level & Professional Environments. This is the hardest & last part of players development learning how to compete into these environments which are difficult.This step is one of allot of decisions to be made & opportunities to be explored with Coach/Player/Family.This does not mean that EFTA can provide guaranteed opportunities to its players, it means that we can help in there journey to provide realistic feed back & possible help along the way
